Error occurred while starting the IBM launchpad due to firefox version incompatible

1) Download an 10 version of Firefox, for example:

# cd /tmp

# wget https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/10.0.2/linux-x86_64/en-US/firefox-10.0.2.tar.bz2

2) Extract it:

# cd /tmp
# tar -jxf firefox-10.0.2.tar.bz2

3) Tell Launchpad to use it

# export BROWSER=/tmp/firefox/firefox

4) Relaunch launchpad.sh

# /tmp/omni-install/launchpad.sh

and now it works:
