On Redhat 7 Linux system the firewall run as

[root@I ~]# service firewalld stop Redirecting to /bin/systemctl stop firewalld.service
Stopped firewall will start again after system's reboot.
To disable Service permanently,
[root@I ~]# systemctl disable firewalld
rm '/etc/systemd/system/basic.target.wants/firewalld.service'
rm '/etc/systemd/system/dbus-org.fedoraproject.FirewallD1.service'
To Enable Service permanently,
[root@I ~]# systemctl enable firewalld ln -s '/usr/lib/systemd/system/firewalld.service' '/etc/systemd/system/dbus-org.fedoraproject.FirewallD1.service' ln -s '/usr/lib/systemd/system/firewalld.service' '/etc/systemd/system/basic.target.wants/firewalld.service'
